If you look at my case studies, you could think I am some kind of wellness guru obsessed with doing yoga and going on mountain retreats.
That's not entirely true.
I grew up in a region where beautiful sceneries like the two pictures below are common, so it was only natural for me to get into hiking.
Plus, it's a free way to exercise and catch up with people!
Oppositely, I have been a fan of new technologies since I was a child and end up spending most of my time behind a computer.
I particularly love using technology to learn new things (I've recently started to learn how to make digitally assisted music 🎼).
Balancing this curiosity for technology and my link with nature on the other side always helped me keep a personal balance in my life.
But above all, I love traveling and interacting with different cultures, understanding why people's behaviors and customs are the way they are.
This is an aspect I want to leverage in my UX Design work.
For a long time, I found the field of UX Design fascinating but I never had the occasion to dig in further until recently.
During the 2020 pandemic, I started to take some online classes to familiarize myself with the field and decided to take things further by enrolling in the intensive UX Design CareerFoundry Program the next year.
I particularly cherish the research aspect in UX.
I love to learn and investigate about people's habits, asking them questions to find their deep needs and motivations and use all my gatherings to make a product as qualitative and meaningful as possible for users. My organization skills and high attention to detail are also greatly satisfied when focusing on polishing the UI and final designs of my product.
My experience in putting myself in candidates’ shoes, empathizing with extremely diverse cultural backgrounds, while solving their problems, helped me to develop a user-centric approach, which I believe will be my greatest asset in the field of UX.
My key skills include:
• User Research: qualitative & quantitative
• User Stories, Personas, User Flows, Journey Maps, Sitemaps, Competitive Analysis
• Wireframing & Prototyping
• Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
